Wallenberg Initiatives in Forest Research (WIFORCE) develops new knowledge about how forests function to enable sustainable use and conservation in a changing climate.
The programme is Sweden’s largest investment in forest research and is hosted by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in collaboration with Umeå University, with funding from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
