The 22nd annual Krycklan Symposium took place on September 24th 2025 in P-O Bäckströms sal, at the SLU Forest Faculty, Umeå. The event included talks and discussions on forest and water systems in the context of a changing climate, with sessions designed to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. The event was hosted by the Department of Forest Ecology and Management at SLU.

Sandra Jämtgård at the Department of Forest Ecology and Management at SLU finished off the Keynote Session on the subject Future Silviculture and tree nitrogen uptake.
