This year marks the 25 year anniversary of SLU’s commission from the government to carry out environmental monitoring and assessment, EMA. We will celebrate this by having lunch lectures in Alnarp on November 9, in Umeå on November 10, and in Uppsala on November 11. In Umeå, the lunch lecture will be broadcasted live.
Join in and get ideas for new collaborations and discover the treasures of EMA. We invite all staff and students at SLU - both those of you who are curious to learn more about EMA, and you who already work with EMA. The outline for the events is the same on all three campuses, but the persons giving lectures differ. The program for the events includes a short introduction to EMA on SLU followed by a presentation on how EMA have contributed to sustainability and improved environmental status, and rounded off with information on how to find open EMA data.
The presentations will be in English and are scheduled for between 12.15pm and 1pm. There will be time for questions, and after the lectures there will be an opportunity to mingle and discuss with the lecturers.
