Antibiotic resistance is a global health threat for both people and animals. Antibiotics do not kill resistant bacteria; therefore, infections caused by such bacteria can be impossible to cure. During this semester’s first Worth Knowing lecture, Professor Susanna Sternberg Lewerin tells us more about this serious problem in both human and veterinary medicine.
